It’s Someday’s Dreamers: Summer Skies episode 11, and it’s time for the mage training class to end and it’s time for everyone to say their goodbyes.
This was a fairly non-eventful episode in the sense of magical happenings. The class of trainees take their final exams: a theoretical exam and a practical exam, which everyone passes, and then they all get their certificates and graduate (well, except for Kuroda who still has a week of make-up classes to attend).
Afterward, Sora tells Midorikawa that she had decided to tell him to forget about her, but her heart doesn’t want him to forget. The next morning, Sora heads to the airport to fly back to Hokkaido.
As I said, not much happened in this episode, really. They took their tests, graduated, Sora did a goodbye thing with Midorikawa, and then left. Sora’s friends all said that they would come up to Hokkaido sometime to see her, though Midorikawa obviously feels that Sora will possibly die before they get that chance.
This kind of leaves open what will happen in the last episode. I’m guessing Midorikawa will go up to Hokkaido himself to be with Sora, but beyond that, I’m not too sure what to expect in the finale.
